Your Booth Can Look Good
And Still Not Be Working.

LOOKING GOOD ISN'T THE WHOLE STORY

An attractive booth can still leave you wondering why shoppers slow down but don’t step in, browse without buying, or simply keep walking.

When something feels off, it’s tempting to start changing things. But before you move a table or redo a display, it helps to watch what shoppers are actually responding to. Sometimes the problem isn’t where you first think it is.

The question isn't whether your booth looks good. It's what shoppers do when they reach it.

Look at What Shoppers Do

  • They Slow Down

    What caught their attention?
Notice where shoppers first look and what makes them hesitate. A pause—even a brief one—can tell you which parts of your booth are getting noticed.

  • They Step In

    What makes them enter?
Watch where people cross into your space and where they don't. The entrance, sightlines, spacing, and what they can see from the aisle can all affect that next step.

  • They Browse

Where do they spend their time?
Notice what shoppers move toward, what they pick up, and where they linger. Just as important, watch which parts of the booth they consistently pass by.

  • They Keep Walking

What happens when they don't stop?
A shopper walking past isn't automatically a problem. But when the same thing keeps happening, it can point toward something worth looking at more closely.

WHAT THIS HELPS YOU DO

It’s easy to react to a disappointing show by changing whatever seems most obvious. Move a table. Add a display. Rewrite a sign. Then wait to see if something improves.

This planner helps you slow that cycle down.

Instead of guessing, you learn to recognize the patterns behind what shoppers are doing, narrow the problem to the part of the booth that may actually be getting in the way, and choose a more intentional place to begin.

You’re not trying to build a perfect booth. You’re learning how to see yours more clearly — so the next change has a reason behind it.
